Ciel: [ LOOK ] - Celeste

“What is this? A staring contest?” Some mortal game to see who could stare at each other the longest, what a strange custom. And yet...Ciel could feel a competitive urge rising, eyes narrowing slightly as they stared at the Virtue, an uncharacteristic smirk crossing their features. “If so, I’m going to win, I hope you know. Can’t lose to one of you Virtues.”

Pride was not surprised to find their sibling in Wildemount. It was hard to surprise the Sin and it was only a matter of time before all their siblings made an appearance. “Lust. Always a pleasure seeing you.” Even if Pride didn’t fully understand their sibling’s....desires. “I can always count on you to stir up some trouble, keep things entertaining. Enjoying your time topside?” They gave the other’s vessel a once over. “Suits you.”

Pride had to admit, there was a certain...charm to Wildemount. They found themselves enjoying their time so far, more than they initially thought. Plenty of powerful beings to keep things interesting, even those who wished to fix those damnable veils. But they were only focused on tracking down powerful being, at the moment. 

One who was long overdue for a visit. 

Walking into Lucifer’s office, their eyes took in their surroundings, a faint smile visible. “This job suits you.” They turned to face Lucifer, a degree of softness to their features that was not often seen. “It has been far too long, I would have come to visit you first but...well, this vessel’s job tends to keep the hands busy.”

“What a...quaint little thing this is.” Ciel mused, brows raised as they walked among the rows of books, fingers trailing over the spines, yet nothing really caught their attention. Then again, they weren’t really looking for anything specific-just killing time. “My literary knowledge is a little rusty. What would you recommend?”
