PARAGON. "Hey, kiddo!" Ciela gives Mari a casual wave, smiling brightly at her. "Heard you were trainin' hard. Ya better be takin' breaks every now an' then. ya hear?"
She looks... more exhausted than usual. Something must be weighing on her mind.
"You want me to come?" The question hinges on her breath. Twenty-one years-old, and her eventual responsibilities feel scarily closer. Four years spent patrolling every inch of Hakolo Island had left the Champion of Mahana incredibly restless and eager for an adventure. Yet . . . she feels as though she is cutting it close . . . "I've got responsibilities in Mahana, though. Would I even be allowed? The Forbidden Lands sound so far away . . ."
PARAGON. "I talked to Chief Gaara 'bout it. He seemed... reluctant, but he can tell ya need some room to stretch yer wings." She's frowning thoughtfully, brow furrowed, hand to her chin. "He said if yer willin', you can tag along fer the trip-- but if we get a missive draggin' ya back, you gotta go soon as ya can."
She grins, giving Mari an affectionate shoulder thump. "Wouldn't want one a' my favorite huntin' helpers to go without me, heheh!" It's a subtle supporting gesture, a reminder that no matter what, she can turn to Ci when she feels lost.

PARAGON. "Mari's come so far since I've known her-- I'm endlessly proud of her. I'd call her my li'l sister if she wanted... haven't asked yet though, heh."
I'm gonna be heading off to the Forbidden Lands soon. I dunno if they want her along... I'd take her if I could.

"Hey, look what th' cat dragged in." She'd been chatting with Lilia in the Scrivener's Lodge, looking for information on the potential Elder Dragon sightings in Loloska, when the blonde Hunter boy had walked into the office.
"Yer Kyle, right?" An easy, toothy grin worms its way onto her face. "Newest Hunter-Rider ambassador?"
She wouldn't be surprised if he hadn't heard of her-- despite that also being in her job description, she's much less well-known outside of her home continent. Rozaria is pretty insular, after all. Reverto and Lilia traveling here was a big deal, and Navirou was a stowaway...
She sticks out her hand to shake. "Nice t' meetcha. Ciela Fairburn."
