Alex hadn’t expected to see the girl since she quit their dance group all of a sudden. Since the two hadn’t had many chances to exchange phone numbers before, they hadn’t been in contact. She felt bad about it because she liked talking with the girl (and dancing as well, but after the girl quit, they could have at least continued talking).

“Ah, Mel,” she said as she spotted the girl in a store, smiling to her. “It’s been a while. How have you been?” she asked.

   Leaning over the counter, the doctor sighs softly at the ding of the bell. They stand themselves upright and give a small, almost bored smile. 

      “Good evening.” They tap their fingers absently on the counter. “Take a wrong turn, or in need of a doctor?” At this point, they were almost hoping for a customer, but it was unlikely at this point. Poeple only ever got lost in these streets now.

「 ✽ 」 “I don’t think it’s embarrassing! It’s great!” Though Maiko had a decent fanbase, it wasn’t one that got Sanae recognised on the street very often. Ah, but it was the mention of competitions and not Meliora immediately knowing her face, wasn’t it? ( She hadn’t been meaning to brag or call attention to the fact that she was somewhat-famous, but they’d been on the topic of her profession and it came up naturally. ) She supposed makeup could play a role in that--she wore it on stage, but not on a day-to-day basis--but in the end, there was no point in dwelling on it, she supposed. Her expression as excited as always, she chuckled a bit. “If anyone should be embarrassed, it’s me, right? I didn’t realise that you knew me. I’m not used to people knowing who I am outside the actual events.”
