Hello.
I’m sorry to be a bother but I feel as if this news should be spread. Today, El Paso’s Cielo Vista mall was attacked by a shooter. I am unable to find specific statistics but several people have been confirmed to have been killed during the onslaught and at least 22 people have been hospitalized from the attack with injuries ranging from lethal to non-life threatening. Employees who managed to escape are described as “shocked” and it is evident many would be left tramautized by the event.
Luckily it seems all suspects have been caught. It was initially thought that three shooters are behind the caper though police have narrowed their search to one suspect. Walmart and the government officials of El Paso have sent their condolences to the citizens as public places are currently taking precautions to ensure safety. Not to mention a reunification site for families of possible victims was set up at a local school.
Now I know shootings aren’t new. Yet it is still meant horrifying to know that there are people even in the safest cities such as El Paso which as described in this article (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kvue.com/amp/article/news/local/el-paso-again-tops-list-of-safest-us-cities/269-e4d89fbe-060a-4dfd-9243-85e1beb9351e) was ranked the safest city of its size in the country for three years, sick people have the power to take away several lives and leave many scarred.
