Growing up Cierra always had the idea that if she was perfect, her life would be happy. Having this way of thinking lead her to be very tense as a child - always making sure she was doing the right thing at the right time. But as she got older, it made her almost a bit fake at times. It created a mask that she put on in front of strangers, a mask that said she was a perfectly well behaved child with goals that would take her very far in life.
Her siblings and her true friends know that while Cierra does have a kind heart and part of this mask is true, there is another side to her that can be very cold and malicious at times.
If Cierra finds out you’ve done her wrong or even slighted her in away that you don’t understand, she’ll cut you off without thinking.
Her feelings are very skin deep. She never lets herself get deeply connected with anyone around her because she is always so focused on her goal to become an engineer and show the world that Cierra Medina is more than her father’s daughter.
Cierra doesn’t often try to take chances or do anything that she isn’t sure will come out 100% beneficially on her end because it often leads to anxiety she can’t control.
So the modeling thing is the one whim she went out on the line for. She knew that she didn’t want to work as a waitress all throughout college and was too proud to ask her parents for help, so she found an agency that was interested in her. She isn’t some big hot shot model yet, but she gets enough work to keep her afloat and happy. Her face in some campaigns that appear nationally, mainly like Target and Forever 21, but she is trying to branch into higher ends. The only problem is that with her yale work AND her modelling on top of everything, Cierra began to fall behind in some of her work.
Her rumor that has been going around is, unfortunately, true. She doesn’t know how someone may have found out, but she adamantly denies that she uses any sort of drugs to keep herself focused and on track.
The way she started to use adderall was from an old classmate. He said that it kept him awake and helped him get through long days which Cierra needed. It was like one second she was thinking maybe and the next she was staring at the pill in her hand. Which all fell from there. She doesn’t consider herself a drug addict in any form of the word, but she does often have a large supply of adderall on her - “just in case”.
None of her family or close friends know about her habit, but secrets often do get louder when you try to deny the truth.
