CIES Day 4
Last day at #CIES2016 was highlighted by three wonderful Penn presentations: Caitlin Vaverek’s poster presentation, Dr. Thapa’s presentation on Education in Nepal, and a joint presentation on “Deconstructing the SDGs” by four Doctoral students.

The past week has been an unforgettable journey of learning for the #IEDP delegation, who will bring back their stories to share with the rest of us in Philadelphia.
CIES Day 3
After finishing up the third day at #CIES2016, we took a little time to reflect upon our observations and learnings over dinner with Dr.Wagner at a Nepali/Indian restaurant in Downtown Vancouver.
The majority of us (except Ty) finally found time to get together for a group photo. #IEDP #RollingDeep
Only one more day to go before heading back to Philly!

The joint reception co-hosted by University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland and George Washington University had a great turnout. We also had the BEST food among all other receptions :)

CIES Day 1
VANCOUVER - Comparative and International Education Society’s Annual Conference begins today. Contrary to enjoying a relaxing Spring Break, 11 IEDPers are ready for five days of intensive learning, and networking!
