they were drizzle but she was hurricane

She stood up abruptly, went outside the bar and lit up a cigarette.

He went after her and lit his own Marlboro light.

"What was that?", he finally asked her breaking the silence.

A silence that had filled up almost a year.

"What was that?", she repeated, even though she knew exactly what he meant.

"That guy was really into you, he seems nice and you just left him in the middle of a sentence."

She sighed, tossing what was left of her always unfinished cigarette and took out her car keys.

"There are two kinds of guys: the ones who stare at you like you are some sort of miracle and the ones who even when looking straight into your eyes are actually staring at your ass. I’ve decided to leave both of them in the middle of their sentences."

He gave her one of his cocky smiles and replied, “You are always jumping to…”

But he didn’t have the time to finish because she was already walking away.

Of course I love feeling like the happiest person on earth but I’ve had to learn to appreciate feeling like the saddest one too. You have to take life for what it is I think, and have the courage to love it all, to take it all in.

i cant take it anymore. im just go off on a rant for a little about cigarettes.

when people ask me in such a malicious manner why i smoke cigarettes i respond with 

"DO YOU ACTUALLY THINK I WANT TO BE ADDICTED TO THESE NASTY THINGS?!"

LIKE fuck no. i dont wanna be addicted to cigarettes. theyre gross. they make me smell. but at least im trying to do something about it. i bought and electric cigarette so that i dont smell anymore and that i can actually stop spending my money on packs. all i buy is flavors now. like fuck off. okay yah i can bring it to school and smoke in class but do u have to go out of ur way and say something malicious about that too? what is ur problem.

I don't smoke for any particular reason, it's just that if someone's shooting a Film Noir and I end up as an uncredited extra in the back, I want to at least fit in.
