Gwylan has been an li since the last update that was released on Oct 31, gwylan is very much a slow burn li since they will be a people of interest first and then later they will kind of slowly become an li if you want the requirements I can't tell u

damn... last time i checked in, avery's mansion was the biggest update. this one seemed to have no buildup whatsoever.

i tried to give it a bit of a test run in a new, random throwaway save file, and...

i don't think i'll be pursuing gwylan ever, not that i'm not interested, but i'm particularly turned off by the fact gwylan "breaks the 4th wall". and by that, you can't use the traditional cheat mode methods.

i like to give every LI a test run through cheat mode to see if they're ever worth the investment in my non-cheat save files, but i quite literally have to go the extra mile for gwylan. you can definitely still cheat, but rather than clicking the option to unlock every outfit, you have to run through so many different events just to unlock a few pieces of clothing. (i know i can look at other people's game screenshots, which i'll probably just do.)

maybe some others like the grindiness of their route, but i don't.

i'm also more interested in npcs like niki, wren and remy being LIs... but oh well. i still need to play out avery's mansion! when i find the time.

yeah, my portrayal of avery circles back to a post i made about how he'll always want a femme partner, regardless of their assigned gender at birth. the business world isn't progressive enough for queer representation, and despite his wealth, he seems to not have enough power to set a trend or example.

i'm also interested in exploring how f!avery will be like around this. i think she has more variety and options for explorarion compared to m!avery, but i feel like when i write it, i'll be too into character exploration instead of making it an x reader 😭

i know you're asking for PC (which might mean Shin the dropout), but i'll answer for Dillon the police officer as well since he's been introduced publicly more recently!

Shin is both a dog and cat person! (not into bestiality) they like animals in general, even if they're not really a zoology nerd. the closest they'd consider to disliking an animal are probably ants, since they tend to infest their food when they leave it alone for even 5 minutes. Dillon... doesn't like animals, in general. closest he could say to liking an animal are probably... the hagfish? or any smooth-looking worm. for no particular reason other than the fact it looks gross

for Shin, it depends. the first person they ever allowed any form of intimate touching with was Avery, but that was before they transitioned. after transitioning, they would probably like it if it was with someone they actually loved, which they haven't found yet. Dillon only likes it if he makes all the moves. he does not like it when the person he's touching does something before him (try to undress, hold his hand, stroke, etc.), and if it were a sex encounter in game, it can go from consensual to nonconsensual if you do anything but the pink options

Shin used to like Avery until he ended their arrangement. before they dropped out of school, they used to be friends with Sydney and Robin. now they're pretty much secluded from everyone except my (unreleased) OC Lazarus and Bailey, who they don't have any strong feelings for. considering creating a Niki connection, but will have to brainstorm for that. Dillon is acquainted with Briar since he goes to the gloryholes often (maybe not on best terms though, since he isn't necessarily the best customer), but the most acquainted he is with someone in doltown is Wren. on his day offs, he visits Remy's estate to gamble with her. i guess you could say he also has connections with Remy, since he's the one who technically helps Remy go unbothered by the police (through bribery and agreements).
