Twas The Night Before....
Well, it's here. One evening away from what separates us from our runway fashion show. We have been preparing for months now and it's surreal that we are ready to see this thing fly. All of the hours spent working on just the right looks in order to bring you, our wonderful Harlow & Liv ladies, that something special you can relate to when you wake up in the morning and put on that days outfit. It's pretty crazy when you think about the fact that in one years time you will choose something to make you feel pretty well over 365 times. Those are the types of things we think about when we bring you your Harlow & Liv fashion. Thank you for allowing us to do what we love. We have the best followers that we could have ever imagined.
We could simply not have pulled off a runway fashion show without the amazing women at Cincy Chic. How do we even begin thanking a group of women who have been so dedicated to making this event so grand? I guess one way is to write about them in your blog. :)
Amy Scalia is the owner, founder and creative mind behind Cincy Chic. The moment we met her we knew we wanted to work with her. It may have been her upbeat personality, or her vibrant smile, or her deep interest in us and H&L, or the fact that we three connected on a deep level. Or that it simply all stands true. She truly offers all women in Cincinnati the opportunity to shine and she cares about what she gets into. We respect a woman that has a small vision and turns it into an empire. Thank you, Amy for showing us how to throw such an amazing party and for experience you have given us! Women all over Cincinnati are thanking you...we know it!
We haven't forgotten about her team of helpers, either. Kerry & Stephanie have been wonderful to work with. It dawned on us this week that such positive women come from Cincy Chic. It's like every time we meet one of these Cincy Chic'ers we are greeted with huge smiles, big hugs and we instantly feel like in a past life we shared grade school milk together or giggles on the swing sets. We wonder if thats a prerequisite for their resume? MUST READ: "I am happy, happy, happy...like all the time!" :)
It has been quite a journey for us. We have had the opportunity to work with MTM Agency in Cincinnati which gave us the beautiful models you'll see tomorrow night. The wonderful people at Paul Mitchell School have embraced our visions for hair and makeup and make it seem even more exciting to see the final looks! They are so organized, hands on and creative and we could not thank you all enough for your support. We are so excited to work with Elements in Sharonville as they are providing an AMAZING venue for us! To Chad Middleton our amazing website guru, marketing man and friend...you are the BEST and have a heart of gold. Thank you for ALL you have ever done for H&L and most important, us.
In the end, it will be a little bittersweet. We have grown throughout this journey as business women, friends and even got to appear on a short segment on Fox News for the cherry on top! We will be sad to see this end, however we couldn't be more excited to see it finally come together.
