***ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! I NEED YOUR HELP WITH SOMETHING*** Warning: this is a little long, but it involves you being able to help make an independent film! Thinking about outlining an idea for a 80's B-movie themed action-thriller about one man in a small Midwestern town who takes the "law into his own hands", but the law is all run by technology. It's like a ridiculous and overdramatic analogy to technology and how it controls us as a society, but in the form of an old b-movie. I need to get it written first, obviously. I really want to produce something in the next year or so, and I have a good idea of who'd I want my crew to be. DOWN BELOW is a hypothetical movie poster I made. It wouldn't be me starring in the lead role, it's just a concept poster. If I made a Kickstarter campaign once the script and shot-list was finished, with a producer, would any of you like to donate to it? Even 5 dollars counts. I would make sure there were good perks, and I would work with a producer that really wants to take on the challenge of giving you those perks. THIS IS A ROUGH CONCEPT, but I think seeing who would ACTUALLY want to be a part of it would REALLY help me write everything a lot faster. Good ol' motivation. I want to make a fun, action-packed, B-themed movie with tons of nostalgic 80's and 90's references with a theme of technology vs. human connection.
