Coming from a long line of diplomats who served the royal family faithfully, the split of the once prosperous nation of Romera had the added effect of splitting Cinereous’s family. After King Sobek’s death the tension between his children became obvious, and Cinereous’s family agreed on a plan: if war broke out, they would all pledge loyalty to different sides in an attempt to keep a line of negotiations open. Now, only a few years into the war, Cinereous seeks any means of ending the fighting and bringing peace back into the realm with his creations. This goal has sent him down many paths, but one in particular could prove especially dangerous. With the invention and manufacturing of firearms still in its early stages, Cinereous is sure he could improve upon the design and that they could be a devastating boon to King Rolland II if they were less costly to make. However, Cinereous sees this option as a last resort, though one he intends to be prepared to implement if he has to.
