uh there were some turkey vultures circling when we left and like crazy thunder it was sO OMINOUS and then it got rainy but it wasn't bad because wELL WE WERE WET ANYWAYS and it looked like a crazy rainforest it was so perf
otherwise there weren't many critters on the river haha
we did go hiking and found this crazy black and yellow millipede (centipede? it was like a cross between the two) and an eastern red spotted newt!!
