Maquinistas is the project created and formed by POLAR & Cinturon Negro,functioning since 2015,they have 3 records (two released by Barbatruco Producciones with some tracks on various compilations) ,last one made in 2022 released by Pueblo Nuevo Netlabel.Keywords to understand Maquinistas work should be:Improvisation,beats,audiovisual,search,noise.Their works together have been made mostly by distance and over the internet (since they live at least 3000 km apart from each other,Santiago of Chile & Punta Arenas).Among the visits Cinturon Negro has made to visit POLAR at the south of the world where POLAR lives,they have recorded live sessions on video (all available at Barbatruco Producciones Youtube Channel). They have never played live (with audience in a formal gig) but this doesn't concern them,since they're not looking for superficial approval of anybody and also they have not being offered any specific real idea to make it so.
