I gotta know about Gorgon!Eclipse: do the snakes have independent thought or do they just react to Eclipse’s thoughts/feelings? Does it count for the stone curse to just meet the eyes of one of the snakes? Does Eclipse need to feed his hair noodles?

The snakes are an extension of Eclipse's physical body (i.e. his hair) and his subconscious. He can't control them directly, but they operate on his same wavelength to a degree. They will never directly act on their own but they won't obey him either, much to Eclipse's chagrin.

The stone curse will not trigger when a person meets the eyes of one of his snakes! As displayed here in Chapter 2:

Eclipse can only turn a person to stone with his gaze.

Thankfully, Eclipse does not need to feed his hair noodles. They do not function with needs and are more so just wiggling, hissing, and lively adornments to his person.

As for his snakes being affectionate with briar, I'll save that for later so as to not spoil anything <3

Hello! I was thinking about 'What The Tide Keeps' again, especially because it is MerMay... and Sun's expression in @cipher-the-sidhe 's art (see below) ... reminded me of the expression of pure bliss Taki has when she holds Nyanko in the anime Natsume Yuujinchou.

So I drew some crossover art where wttk Sun is cuddling the cat Nyanko(instead of Y/N).

Ok, I realized I just… it’s hard to imagine how SJ!Eclipse would handle a vigilante who actually agreed with him and was his ally. He seems to relish their animosity and fight so much. Does he know what to do with his hands when they don’t have to grip them tightly to keep them from running away? How would he deal with them agreeing with him and being on his side?

SJ!Eclipse is very arrogant in believing that the vigilante belongs to him and they should already be at his side, fighting his fight. He only enjoys their resistance because it's charming and ultimately useless, like watching a puppy struggle on its leash. His hands will be on the vigilante regardless of whether they're trying to run from him or not, leaving his mark. That's how he likes it. Once they're by his side, he knows exactly how to use them, siccing them on his enemies and picking their cunning mind to strategize on how to implode his rivals' business. He's thought about what he would do with his sweetheart once they are entirely his.

They're going to rule the city together.

You are not kidding in the slightest when you say this song is Tigertaur!Eclipse and Leopardtaur!YN. Oh my gosh. I'm blown away by how beat-for-beat it fits. Man, this might as well be their theme, there's not going to be anything that tops this!! Also these lines especially just make me feral:
