put too much cream in my box mac & cheese and the sauce is so thin that i'm eating unflavored macaroni with a cheese soup at the bottom of the bowl. the sauce runs off of the macaroni as soon as i lift it. but yknow what i realize after all this time? still pretty tastey

Theeeen I decided to try my hand at another screencap redraw from Cipher! I was a little torn on this one since I did three separate sketch layers with slightly different angles and attitudes lmao.  

I wound up stopping in the middle of working on Anise, because I’m still no good at eyes, and I’m also no good at rotating the canvas/tablet. 

You’ll see I got bored and drew something else entirely...

I wanted to end the night on a high note, so I started filling in the background for my original Cipher redraw. The buildings definitely demand more detail, and I meant to have the outlines in there. But I got tired because it was so late. I threw Siva on top of the color layer just so I could have a nice header for my blogs. 

Maybe I’ll revisit this and finish it late. It’s also bigger than it’s supposed to be in proportion to him, lol.

After I left the drawpile, I felt more comfortable using my tablet (even if I still didn’t feel good reorienting it). My joke of redrawing my favorite Cipher icon inspired me to do another redraw, and this one turned out even simpler than I expected! In the bottom right, I drew over the screencap, but then I started a whole new clean drawing next to the screencap. It’s not a profile like the original, and the expression is a bit different, but I’m really pleased with it. I didn’t know I had it in my. This looked like the doodle of a real artist!

And drawing old school shoujo hair is just fun...

My friends and I did a drawpile! Here’s mine (except that blue dog) 

Unfortunately after a bit my computer glitched out so I left.

I did:

1) A Kirby to christen the drawpile

2) Screencap redraw of Cipher the Video (mostly for the meme)

3) Draw A Dog Tuesday

4) An AC villager

5) A TV, which turned into a TV head.

This was fun and I did not expect to be as good at drawing the hair as I was!

And look, Ma: I actually had the collar wrap around as it went behind his neck. Depth??? What is this!? It only took me like 15 years to learn. 

Bonus: it’s fun to remove the layers lol
