Final Fantasy XIV ask meme

BGM and vocal tracks can technically be considered two different classifications so you get TWO ANSWERS :DDD

Of course my bitch ass can’t settle on ONE answer for each half of this question ANYWAY.

Vocal track is a little easier to answer since I have fewer tracks to choose from, so lets go with that first. I can narrow it no further than Answers, Equilibrium, Wayward Daughter, and Shadowbringers.

BGM is a damn NIGHTMARE to answer because the music in this game is so good, and, well, it holds a world record for greatest number of tracks so GO FUCKING FIGURE. I can’t NOT mention Magiteknical Difficulties, Cyan’s Theme, and Eternal Wind, but those are all originated from other FF games so I guess I should set those to the side.

So, BGM that originates in FFXIV…Whisper of the Land, definitely. It’s always on at least one of my orchestion playlists and often gets played on loop, because not only is it lovely, it’s a 1.0 Shroud BGM, and I have a dirty forest child. I tell you, I about shit myself when I walked into walked into Slitherbough, and it started playing. Also, Against the Wind and Beyond the Wall.

In a public place, Armantel rolls his eyes to look cool. In private, they both sing the karaoke like there’s no tomorrow.

• Which one will refuse to have the other spend their money on them, even if it was urgent

Armantel wants Circe to spend her money on a certain bartender instead. Armantel has boots, and therefore bootstraps.

• Which one would ask the other to dance

Armantel would ask Circe to dance :3c

• Which one fell in friendship first

Circe probably. Armantel probably still secretly thought she was hot when she friended him. Also he wasn’t too good at being real friends back then! 

• Which one is the red oni and which one is the blue oni

Armantel is the red oni and circe is the blue oni!

• Which one cries first when they fight

Circe I’m so sorry but it’s you.

• Which one would spoil the other silly on their birthday

Armantel tries to manipulate events so that Ciar gives her a birthday present. He gives her one himself too, of course, but makes sure Ciar starts the party. 

• Which one would steal the other’s clothes

Circe. After he tells her how cute she looks in oversized sweaters and lends her one. Armantel likes her fashion sense but he could never fit into her clothing.

“... Oh? And why not?” The Xaela seemed genuinely surprised -- and uncertain as he slowly eased out of the stance he was in. So close to hitting the target with an arrow... and if he didn’t let it fly soon; he would miss.

He’d been defending one of his own from the damned hunters that filled the woods, sending the collector off while he faced down the pack of them. His intent had been to scare them with illusions or call another to help him kill them off so he could leave. He hadn’t expected one of them to use a tranquilizer dart, the needle sticking him in the neck, before promptly being followed by a few others. His only saving grace was that he had a few precious moments before the things actually took effect, and he could take out a few of the men before it hit him, falling unceremoniously to the ground.

The next few day would be a blur, waking up gagged in the back of a carriage going who knows where, someone poking him and pulling on things that honestly needed a bit more foreplay before he let people touch. The last event would have him blearily opening eyes, world spinning and bright aetheric outlines making him feel slightly ill. He was still bound, still gagged, but what was new was the fact that he couldn’t hear anything. Dia could feel the little hands of creatures, likely spriggan with how they flocked to him, on his leg. He was wearing clothes much nicer than what he had been. But that moment of consciousness was not long, feeling the cool metal of the bars beneath him before he knew no more again.

Actually waking was painful, head throbbing as he took stock of where he was. Still with the spriggans, still deaf and mute, but now he was somewhere much nicer if the carpet was anything to go by. It didn’t take long for his ‘master’ to approach, a hand under his chin had him looking up at what could only be a miqo’te woman.

He didn’t stop the growl that rose in his throat. He was not pleased.

for each “⭐️” I get, i’ll write a headcanon about our muses

1. Honestly, if he catches her or anyone else trying to go after Maahes, he will ensure that the massive panther has free reign to take out whomever he wants. He might call a stops before C’ersi dies, but if she’s really out for him, well sucks. Could always let her beg for life...

2. When he isn’t letting his pets kill her because she’s apparently decided that they aren’t allowed to continue, he will pester her within an inch of her life. Usually this means that he is acting as her chair and taking whatever books he feels like because it is all in the name of impeding progress.

3. Dia still calls her snowflake, even if she doesn’t want him to. That is her name now, and there is no way to change it. Someday he’s gonna say it to her face and something might snap, but he welcomes it, because she’s usually so collected.

Today’s commission is of Menphina for @circecastor. Had a little difficulty with this character for some reason and the sketch looked wonky so I threw on some colors to convey a little better what was in my head.

Circe let out a long sigh, making some work on the knot that bound all the books she needed together. She shook her head at the frustrated healers, dragoons and assortment of other adventurers finding rest in the jewel of the desert. She dropped the books on the table and began to crack them open, eyes moving across the pages to find the information she needed.

“Not quite sure, but they must have put them there themselves if they find a lack of company to do it for them.” Circe was not one to make such jokes,but there she was.

Diablos snagged whatever book she wasn’t using, flipping through it and reading whatever passages stuck out to him. He was not a scholar, did not much care for the books that these people held so dear to them. He ran off instinct and it had kept him out of trouble for the most part. It did him little good to read about the government of other nations, or how to better cast a spell without burning yourself.

       〝 Sort of gets in the way of other things, but I suppose we can’t all enjoy the act.             And really, off colored jokes from the woman that needs to be pressured to ask             for simple things? 〞

He draped himself across her back, head falling onto her shoulder. Easy companionship that he’d adapted, though he didn’t doubt that most people could care less for how he just attached himself to others...
