I got my tablet, I am so ready to draw some terrible upd8 art, so I thought ‘Hey, now would be a great time to try that alt circle thing tutorial, let me rewatch the video because I can’t remember how it went!!’ the problem is I CANT FIND IT. You know, the shakey cam video where the person explains something about drawing the eyes below the line or something??? Question marks???????? It’s a tumblr only thing so google has failed me again.

Things I wish people had told me when I started drawing:

Even pros get it wrong

Like, a lot. Never trust a drawing book, if it looks wrong to you it probably is.

You will feel pretty much the same about your art whether you have been drawing for a month or 4 years

People never like the same drawings that you made as you do, and yes that will make you want to rip your own hair out.
