Circus Maximus - Throwback Thursday

A little throwback to 2013, and the first ever Circus Maximus (the UK’s first circus competition - held in a big purple cow on London’s Southbank).

This year marks the third competition and applications to compete close a week tomorrow, on Friday 20 March. The winning act will receive a cash prize of £4,000, two weeks free rehearsal space here at the National Centre for Circus Arts and a first look agreement with Underbelly Productions to produce a live show of the work you develop.

Applications to take part in this year's competition close on 22 May. You get paid to perform in the heats and finals, and if you win you get £5,000...  Find out more.

The shows/ heats/ finals will take place in the Udderbelly (giant purple upside-down cow) on the Southbank in London from 8 - 12 July 2014.
