a cursory glance before his eyes return to the paper in his hands ; a slight curve of his lips . ' you ought to eat more vegetables , ' he tells his junior partner . ' you might grow the proper way , then . /upwards/ . ' - circusd

“ for a second , i thought you were anne back already . ” she had been reluctant to leave in the first place , & truthfully he of course preferred when she was nearby , but she looked so exhausted , & he promised her that taking a small break for fresh air would be okay . he would still be here .
he opened an eye when he heard footsteps coming to the bed in what he figured was a short time later . truthfully he wasn’t sure : he was in & out of sleep all day . he manages a smile to the older man , a held back cough as he speaks , an attempt at a joke to lighten the mood . “ guess i didn’t take the best care of your circus . some apprentince i am , right ? ” / @circusd heres ur anGST sorta
Process monitors and managers
For processes not already integrated into systemd the two main alternative managers seem to be Circus and supervisord. The main advantage of circus appears to be its ability to handle sockets.
These seem to be popular with engineers deploying complicated web stacks and trying to separate their components into sundry containers (e.g. grouping related processes in docker). It is unclear to me whether the effort would be better spent in creating systemd units instead.
