Circusfest

The circus isn't just scary clowns and animal abuse... it's a proper art form now, spearheaded by some boundary-pushing acrobats and artists making rad, emotional, poetic works. Roundhouse is celebrating the new school of circus with a month-long festival showcasing the iconoclasts who are breaking out of the big top. It’s an emotional work of solidarity, paying heed to the plight of refugees worldwide. There's lot more to see, though, so check the full programme.

Howie came to help us run the custom cueing system that we had made for us, allowing us to run the show cues from onstage. We ended up using extra cues from Tom and Adam of the Roundhouse (both top guys) but are in good stead to run it all ourselves when we come to start our rural tour (hopefully) next year.
