Running From Troubles || Key & Victoria
Victoria fell back on her bed, ready to take a short nap instead of linger with the other members of the cirque on the beach. Even though there were not as many people out there now from what she could tell, there were still far too many for her liking, which actually meant she really would only be satisfied with a completely empty beach left just for her. So she figured she would get some more sleeping in, since this was supposed to be their vacation anyway and she had spent most of it reading rather than getting sleep.
She idly stared up at the ceiling before her eye lids slowly started to close, but not before something crossed her vision. Opening her eyes fully, she glanced along the ceiling, wondering what dark thing had caught her attention a moment ago. But right as she was about to dismiss it as a shadow, she spotted it.Crouching on the corner of the ceiling was a huge black bug, at least three inches big, which might as well be three feet big to her. Its legs were long and fat, and they slowly twitched as the thing started crawling down the wall. Horror twisted Victoria's expression as she quickly sat up, shaking her head and muttering "nope" to herself repeatedly, her voice increasing in volume and pitch. If there was one thing on this planet that truly scared the blonde, it was bugs, and that one was a perfect specimen of everything she hated about them rolled into one filthy, huge, down right scary creature.
She didn't stick around to see what type it of insect it was. Instead, she stood up from the bed slowly, her wide eyes focused on the creepy little devil that was gradually making its way down her wall. Fully awake now, she calmly ran out of her house, not exactly thinking about where she was going as long as it was away from the intruder that was currently getting free reign of her room. Fear and horror was still pretty evident on her face as she kept repeating "nope" to herself, pretty much deciding that she would 'accidentally' just fall asleep on the beach or something rather than return to her house.
Before she knew it she was at the beach, watching as other members played, ate, and generally enjoyed themselves. She quickly managed to calm her expression and herself down somewhat, and stalked far off to the side, just within sight of the all the others. No, she didn't like being around everyone else, but at least that meant there were plenty of people who could kill a bug if she spotted one. So with a sigh, she sat down in the sand and leaned back on her arms, investing her attention in the stars until something more interesting came along.
