➣ `愛しい人; Jinri & Miyavi` —✖
It was nearing sundown when Jinri had decided to take a walk around the island for herself. She had no idea where Seunghyun must have been, seeing how he hadn’t found her like he had done in the camp last time. He’s probably just roaming around like always. She reassures herself, trying her best to think positive when it dealt with her. She was terrible with thinking good about herself. If it were still Jinri from the past, she would have completely dismissed the idea that her companion was even thinking about her. And its not her fault she thought this way, her ‘family’ made her believe so.
Setting off in a wooded area as the sun painted the skies in an array of warm oranges, pinks and purples, she loses herself within the nature the island has on display. “I’ve never seen anything more beautiful in my life. . . maybe if I look hard enough, I’ll find Seunghyun-oppa. .” Exploring without fear of getting too lost, she wanders around for a good 30 minutes as she watched the sun slowly make its way down into the earth. Jinri was prepared for the rest of her little adventure. Wandering with Seunghyun in the past, she would often lose him, as she did before finding the cirque. Carrying a flashlight around was just something she grew accustomed to doing.
All she had up until this point she was thankful for was Seunghyun. Not only because he saved her life with his quick reflexes, but also because he never once questioned why she exactly she did it or why she was the way she way. And not because he didn’t speak, but because she knew he honestly didn’t care about all of that. Though silent, they shared a bond no one else would understand, and she was thankful for him. Though, with this even, she did wish that she could have someone just like him but more. . . open. Traveling with the elder, he was more secretive about his past life than Jinri was. Not that she absolutely needed to know what made him the way he is, she just felt that if he would speak, she could take some of that stress and he could relax maybe a little more. But she knew that wasn’t going to happen any time soon.
She needed someone that would listen to her like Seunghyun did, but as open as Jinri is herself. She spilled every little detail about her life to the elder hoping she could get a little something out of him. Details she knew she was more comfortable telling others if they so chose to become a part of Jinri’s life. The thought crosses her mind a few more times as she paints a picture in her head of someone she’d ideally run into. Preferably a woman, and a older one at that. Seunghyun was like her father already, she needed a female in her life to be like her mother figure. She shares a smile with herself as she assimilates to the idea.
While she still had some sunlight before needing to retrieve the flashlight, she would stop and note certain spots that hosted flowers she had never seen before. Taking one of each as she passed by, she tucked them along with her hair, making somewhat of a little bouquet behind her ear. “I can already tell, I’m going to love it here. .” Wandering deeper into the forest like area, the air begins to smell a little. . . sweet.
Sniffing around, getting closer to the smell, she knew exactly what it was her nose was picking up. Is that. . . water? Scoping out the area as she followed the scent, she soon found herself approaching the rushing sound of a river slowly getting louder. Ducking under the overgrown vegetation, she finally finds the destination of the origin of the smell. Oh wow. . It wasn’t too vast in space, but it was very beautiful for the little space it covered. There was a little stream that seemed to flow to unknown areas of the forest that obviously led to the sea. The different colored leaves and flowers that decorated the edge of the little pool of water blended beautifully with the jagged rocks and branches that seemed to have fallen perfectly into little resting areas around the aquatic beauty. Moss covered the rocks that in result made them seem to blend in with the grass. It was a sight she had only seen on television, and as it seemed, it was her spot for the taking.
”I’ve definitely need to bring Seunghyun-oppa here when I find him.”
Taking a seat facing towards a more open area through the trees where she can view the sunset, she nestles in with the earth as she watches the beauty of nature take its course, herself blending in along as she silently watches the beauty in action.
I definitely need to share this spot with him soon. . .
