hmmmm qpp fili/ori and angbang?

hmm i’m gonna be honest, while i’d prefer qp fili/ori over romantic fili/ori it’s not my cup of tea. i see fili as the kind of aro who doesn’t really want a qpr and is perfectly content without one. he loves all his wonderful and weird friends and that’s the best thing for him!

also, i don’t really see him and ori interacting a lot. i feel like the fili/ori ship (and the fili/sigrid ship and pretty much all the fili ships) isn’t born out of “i actually like how these characters interact!” and instead is based on “wait fili doesn’t have an obvious romantic interest so let’s Pair The Spares” which is a trope i DETEST.

i think that both fili and kili are Super Bros and that while they like ori and are glad he’s there so they’re not the Youngest, they aren’t like super close to him? like they like hanging out with him especially when the older dwarves get all Old and Weird but he’s not like their closest friend.

angbang is Some Good Shit. i really like it! and i actually quite enjoy the fanon interpretation of that relationship! i do think people go a little far in erasing the fact that they are Actually Extremely Evil and not just “misunderstood uwu”, which is kind of a shame...mostly because i think having an evildoing power couple is so fun! they are bad, bad people and that’s super interesting! also, quality ship name 10/10 would ship again

though as with all my shipping i care so much less about romance than i used to
