Haley Megan Graham is blessed by the fae. This is her third lifetime as such, though she will be for as long as her soul goes through the cycle. She was the first mortal to ever befriend Ultan, back in the 1910s. She was an old woman when they met the first time. She was witty and kind and showed him the good side of humans and in return, he left her with a blessing and decided he would do so every time she was reborn. They’re small blessings, meant to fit whatever time she’s living in. Because she was old the first time, he blessed her with an ease of the ache in her bones. When she was a child again in the 30s, he gifted her insight-- to always know the true intention of those around her, to keep her safe. And when she got old again, the ache in her bones was less. Learning the blessings were stacking didn’t make him want to stop, but he did decide to go smaller scale. This time around was a modern blessing-- the ability to always take a good photo. Even candids of her look amazing. She’s gone into modelling now and she always knows who she can trust and who she can’t, which agents have her back and which don’t. It’s an instinct she trusts, though she doesn’t know where it comes from. Ultan has not reached out since that first lifetime. He’s introverted and prefers to let her live her life, though he is still quite fond of her.
Cisco and Haley met during his younger days, back when he was modelling to pay for school. While he’s mostly retired now, they’re still good friends and keep in close contact. He hears the gossip about old colleagues from her and she gets the ridiculous stories of academia from him.
