“Here we go again”, Darcy muttered to herself spotting the guy just seated in her section. She was pretty sure the hostesses were playing a joke on her by this point - it had to be his sixth? Seventh date? Always with a different girl, always awkward as hell, and always in her section.
“Good evening”, she said, stopping by the table and flashing him a grin and a wink before slipping the bland smile back on. “Can I start you off with some drinks?”
“Hush”
Laurel smirked against his finger but nodded. Looking around she whispered, “Are we playing hide and seek cause you should let the player know if you are.”

She shouldn’t have taken the pain medication. Her shoulder wasn’t that bad but when it had been handed to her she hadn’t even thought twice. Unfortunately it had left her groggy and the nightmares had come. “I can go if you want me too.” She made no move to actually move instead cuddling further under the blankets. “I was having nightmares. I hate sleeping alone and I somehow found myself here. Can I stay?” She pouted up at him with wide eyes trying her hardest to make it hard to say no to her. It had been to long since she had just had someone to curl up with.
“Planet’s closed on Sundays. Come back tomorrow - tours start in the lobby at nine. Probably.”

Laurel picked up the shattered glass and threw it in the trash can. This was the third time this week that she had lost control and shattered something. At least this time it was just a glass and not the windows. She had chosen a hotel over staying with her mother not wanting to risk hurting her. She needed help and the only people she could think of were Star Labs. Felicity had spoken highly of them and she knew they were helping The Flash, maybe they could help her too.
As a child she had thought having super powers would be cool but now she was rethinking that. Laurel grabbed her coat as she walked out the door. No more putting this off. The walk to Star Labs gave her time to clear her head and by the time she reached it she was calm. Walking inside she looked around until she spotted a young man. “Hi ummm I was hoping you could help me. I’m Laurel Lance. Felicity Smoak said I could find help here.”

It was only 5:30 and Flushing Meadows was already filling up with people from all around ready to snag there seats and take sneak peeks at what new technology groups had to offer. While outsiders got to enjoy the festivities before the main event, Ilana was stowed in the back of the main hall being forced to ‘sit tight’ before having to get overhauled into an entirely different person. She could slip away, just one quick peek at the showcasing’s, not like anyone would notice. With her face bare, hair naturally sprung in a mess of curls, and in a shirt two sizes too big, no one could tell she was even a Stark! The minute the next dresser stepped out, Ilana moved lively and got the hell out of there, snagging a baseball cap too. Just for precaution. It wasn’t even dark yet and the area glimmered! Every large technological and scientific sponsor and company rimmed all around the yards, Cordco, Accutech, Fujikawa, Hammer tech, plus more. It was a nerds paradise. Checking the time she only had a short window of oppurtunity to check things out, so Lana made haste and ran to the first building near the unisphere. Eyes lingering all about the structure she had this smile plastered on her cheeks that made her look like a kid wondering in a candy shop, getting so lost in the works around her she almost stumbled into the centering display case. “ Oops! Oh- I’m sorry! Didn’t really see...that there... uh, sorry.” Nervously checking around the area her shoulder tightened and kept a fair composure. Vaguely capturing the label on the person’s badge before her she noted, “ S.T.A.R.’s lab? -am I right?”
