friends, filipinos, countrymen! concertus manila is holding a survey on which musical we'd like to see next. concertus was responsible for bringing wicked, phantom, potted potter, and mamma mia to the philippine stage. they were also supposed to bring in dirty dancing a few months ago, but due to low ticket sales (IMO), they pulled out. i'm guessing that's why they're gauging public interest this time. if anything, their previous projects are a testament to their ability to bring a foreign company to the country, so if you would be so kind as to participate in their survey, that would be great.

idk why but that phrase made my mind go instantly to the amis hearing about valjean's story and then making a bread cannon that follows and shoots baguettes at javert EVERYWHERE

omg you watched wicked! was it great? are jemma rix and suzie mathers really as good as everyone says? the stagedoor's the entrance ahead of the side door, yes? :D

they were great! it’s my first time to see it live so idk if my opinion even has credence. i only have video boots to compare to. i guess when you’re in a world tour, where most of the audience will be seeing the performance for the first time, you’re bound to get raving reviews. just like the phantom trio when they got here. i think they could have improved on their chemistry. there were some points when i thought “no. more. there has to be more.” (specifically, for good, which probably isn’t a good sign). individually, they were great!

and yep, artist’s entrance is near the side door! i had photos with the main trio but man, fiyero was taaAAAaall! :)

wow, anon, seriously? she doesn’t hate all the characterisations, she just doesn’t like those that don’t fit what we’ve been told about the characters, and sound more like original fiction than fanfiction. there’s nothing wrong with that.

I don't think I do? but I'm probably being unfair on some levels, too - or venting uselessly, as I don't really contribute with good characterization in the first place.

ooh, pretty~ what else was in there and how long is the exhibit going to be there? bit tempted to go… :D

i'm not entirely sure how long it'll be there. maybe until wicked is running here? anyway, it's a pretty small exhibit. aside from this one, there's two pairs of boots. i looked pretty weird taking close-up photos. :)
