Auron sleeps very lightly. When he was alive, this was partially due to a somewhat restless nature as well as the military training. When he was deployed in the field with a combat squad of monks, and later on when guarding Braska, he would be awake at any sound of fiends. Sleeping so lightly obviously doesn’t help one’s temperament, which is partially why he was always a bit uptight and snappy when he was younger.

Now that he’s unsent, he actually sleeps a bit more deeply, but it makes him uneasy, thinking that it might be an effect of the Farplane calling to him. He looks a bit more his age when he’s sleeping - the deep-etched pain lines relax somewhat, and he’s not holding all the tension and worry that he does when he’s awake.

His first real traveling experiences were with the warrior monks, being deployed out to patrol or to defend villages from fiends, sometimes getting stationed to serve at the larger temples. Times on the road were spent covering ground with efficiency, not stopping to dawdle or to much appreciate the land they were passing through. Travel was very destination-oriented; the monks had a place to be and a job to do. Auron kept this attitude much of the time until his Pilgrimage with Braska, who would often stop and talk to people on the road, or simply sit and observe, soaking in all the feelings and experiences of the world around them. It didn’t take much for Auron to break habit and join him.
