Was able to take part in the #1000Ravens kickoff at @unbc today. Based on the Japanese legend that if you fold 1,000 origami cranes your wish will come to true, the @unbc_fnc First Nations Centre is inviting people to fold 1,000 origami ravens because their wish is for reconciliation. It was challenging, but that's part of the point-- don't give up partway through, because as the story goes, Raven brings the light. ❓ I first saw one of these marks while biking home Wednesday. 🤷‍♀️ Then I saw a woman on Facebook who had one outside her house and several more around her block, and wanted to know what they were. ❌ The city, FortisBC, the police, Telus and BC Hydro all said they didn't know... 🕵️🕵️ So I recruited @willcadell to come with me to search the city streets to find an answer...
