Reblog this with your own ideas if you feel like it.
First off is a the names of the Affinities, because Firaxis never got that far. They are Ascendancy (Harmony+Purity), Technocracy (Purity+Supremacy) and Voracity (Supremacy+Harmony).
Next is the end goals. Ascendancy is all about making humans godlike through genetic alterations, so their goal should be constructing Project: Ascension where they subvert the planetary hivemind and use it as the backbone for the creation of a New Olympus by way of ascending human colonists brought in via dimensional gateways. Technocracy makes use of advanced robotic servants that overhaul the planet to improve human survival, so in all likelihood their usage of Warp Gate tech starts off as innocent enough but once people start refusing they begin using lethal force to “convince” people to join them in a Militarized Exodus. Finally Voracity is just straight up insane, once they create a hive-mind singularity composite they will open up a gate, send their hordes of hybrid cyborgs through, and bring back people for...Reconstructive Integration (Every other Affinity: “Excuse me, what!”).
Now onto Units. The first two units to consider are tier 4′s of the Missile Rover (Phalanx, Bravura and Barbarian) and Submarine (Andromeda, Magnate and Devourer). The rest have combined Affinity Costs equal to those of the standard Affinity Units, but they require two different techs for each one. The arrangements are as follows:
4/4:
Voracity: Inferno (A machine built using structural principles from xenobiology with a mind encoded within nanobot treated bacteria)
Ascendancy: Demigod (Human with muscles enhanced by alien DNA)
Technocracy: Expert (Human wearing an exo suit that has the OS of a Drone to provide enhanced control)
7/7:
Voracity: Butcher (a much larger version of the Inferno outfitted with stealth tech from the Geliopod, the Butcher acts as a spotter for the Cleaver)
Ascendancy: Titan (Combines the enhanced strength of the Demigod with the Regeneration bacteria of the Immortal, this unit can also inject this bacteria into units to heal them and give them a temporary strength boost)
Technocracy: Effigy (Designed based on data from the Drone Cage and the Expert, this combat walker can deploy two drones that heal allies and and serve as point defense)
9/9
Voracity: Cleaver (an Orbital unit that exists as a massive flying colonial organism, each zooid of which is cybernetically enhanced Using thermoelectricity and photosynthesis the Cleaver works a sedentary weapons platform, destroying enemies sighted by Butchers with its powerful Nano-Miasmic Shells)
Ascendancy: Hekaton (Made using alterations in neural growth of Architects based on interactions in the Throne the Hekaton exists as the first step in the creation of the Human Hive Mind. consisting of a squad of enhanced Architects outfitted with LEV augmented armour, the members of this unit exists as a self contained hive mind allowing for much greater battlefield co-ordination)
Technocracy: Monument (designed after the Golem and Autosled the Monument is a manned LEV artillery piece that can “lock” itself in place to create a floating platform that can withstand the recoil of it’s own cannon, like the Autosled the Monument has an integrated AI,this one is used more for fine-targeting of enemies once the cannon has been fired)
12/12:
Voracity: Nephilim (The cumlination of Xeno-Cyborg evolution and design, the Nephilim is the ultimate in self adaptation and propagation. Grown using what can only be described as Nanotech augmented HeLa Zooids bound to a mechanical frame, the Nephilim is a fearsome melee combatant that can also release clouds of mind assimilating Nano-Miasma, adding people animals and machines affected by it to the Voracity.)
Ascendancy: Pantheon (The end of the path started with the Titan and the Hekaton, the Pantheon is the fully realized Human Hive Mind, the bodies of those who have ascended to the Pantheon are stronger and harder to kill than the Titans and their ever expending network is greater than units of Hekatons, plus they can expand their ranks by ascending others)
Technocracy: Emperor (the final weapon of the Technocrats the Emperor is an immense weapons system consisting of a huge LEV Platform armed and mobilized by a network of drone operated weapons and motive systems that are slaved to a sizable crew, if the entire crew is incapacitated the Emperor platform can move and fight in their defense but can take no other action.)
I got commissioned to draw Kavitha Thakur from CivBE in a babydoll. The commissioner wanted her in the same pose as her original concept art ^^ she was fun to draw.
