@civitatum-corda the guernsey thing
There were two reasons why Sabrina had made it to the island. Firstly, she had grown tired of Jesse’s excuses not to come home and secondly, she had gotten the information on that woman he had been looking for. They weren’t good news--she had been killed at a camp--and it was a very good excuse to get herself to Guernsey and bring her fiance back to reality.
Finding her way around the island wasn’t that difficult and a bloke at the mail post offered to take her to a farm where Jesse was hanging out in. Mr. Rogers’ farm--the same bloke that had started this whole thing and it only took one look at them to confirm all of her suspicions.
Since Jesse seemed to be quite busy and had offered to help Mr. Rogers with something (she did NOT want to think WHAT exactly he was helping with) she decided to head back to the house she was staying at, fuming all the way. Not even the quite lovely landscape could get her mind off of it or the bloke trying to chat up.
“You know? I think I’m quite patient. I’m usually a very patient person. I have news, very important news and...” she groaned quietly looking down at her hands. “I’m sorry Mr. Beltrán. You shouldn’t have to deal with my anger.”
