story time.
i remember the night when he saw my cuts and immediately covered them before anybody else could see them while he smiled at me and said everything would be okay although i saw how much i had hurt him in his eyes. i wish i could relive the moment where he gave me that captain america silly band and told me “you need to stop self harming. you see, this guy is a super hero, and every time you want to cut just look at him and think of me. remember, if you go through with cutting you’ll make captain america feel as if he isnt doing his job right. so you cant do it.”
today is the day ive been 7 months and about 17 days sober of self harm. there was hope for me, and there is hope for you.
i dunno where i'd be without a guy friend to vent too.
