You know how Hearts and Phi look so much older than the other characters, and the guy who designed Phi [idk if he designed Hearts too or if that was someone else, irrelevant though,,] put out a kind of vague tweet mentioning he forgot Phi was supposed to be 11 while drawing him? So now nobody can figure out if that means Phi and Hearts are just Really Mature-Looking 11 y/os or if that means they actually ended up just being adults?

Cursed Compromise: Hearts and Phi ARE 11. In leap years. Which means they’re actually about 44. [Or 48 now ig, since Birthday Just Happened.]

Doesn't get an ideal amount of sleep, because she finds it easiest to get paperwork-type busywork done either late at night or early in the morning, when everyone else is in bed [except Free. Free is awake whenever Free feels like being awake. Free is not helpful with paperwork but he will make tea and also loiter in the dark corners of the room for moral support.]

Vastly prefers tea over coffee, but might drink coffee if there's basically more cream/sugar/vanilla/chocolate/Whatever Other Sort Of Flavouring in the mug than there is actual coffee in it. Does not consider black coffee to be a substance fit for human consumption.

Extremely hesitant to call the police for basically anything, and would rather try to handle the problem without legal hassle. For various reasons. [More paperwork when she's already busy, there's like One (1) Actual Adult in BC Sol and she's not 100% sure if that adult-to-kid ratio is Legally Acceptable, not sure how up-to-code certain parts of the BC Sol Architecture are, not sure what's in some of those dark rooms in the lower basement, etc.]

Sprays Free with some sort of Bug-B-Gone when he comes back inside after being out in the woods for a long time. This is why the club is not overrun with fleas and ticks.

Awake a lot during the night, so people learn to assume any sounds like shuffling, rustling, footsteps, etc. after midnight are probably coming from him, so it sucks when they're not.

Tends to just kind of. Appear. Without making any noise as he approaches. He's just suddenly right behind you. [That part's just canon, actually.] This leads some people to speculate that the reason for him supposedly Actually Making Noise at night is either because 1. it's dark and the sound makes people less likely to bump into him if anyone else is up for whatever reason, or 2. it's DARK and he knows it creeps some people out to hear things go bump in the night like that [he's got a mischievous streak, but also the creep factor keeps restless kids in bed instead of wandering around to bother Chris while she's trying to work]. The answer is Yes.

Gets himself in places that it seems like he should not be able to access, giving no indication of how he got there. He's perfectly capable of getting back out of these spaces as well, just as mysteriously. Always when nobody's looking directly at him.

Can see extraordinarily well in the dark -- almost perfectly, even when his eyes aren't lit up gold.

Collects shiny objects, even if they're worthless -- he'll polish them as best he can and hoard them. Especially if they're gold. Small glittery or metallic objects tend to disappear, though only if nobody will particularly miss them too much. Though there is the odd occasion where he'll just take somebody's whole-ass doorknob if they've managed to irritate him enough.

His hoards of shiny things are stashed away in interesting places that seem almost impossible to easily reach.

Can hold his breath for a long time. A very long time. May sit at the bottom of a pond [or other body of water] for a bit, just to enjoy the peace.

Neck was broken at one point. Healed questionably.

Not afraid of much of anything

Doesn't react to pain like he should, and it's debatable whether he even feels it at all if the injury is not severe enough [I think this is just canon tbh? Considering the way he "trains" in the anime. Also he bit himself in the manga iirc, I think I heard Chris gave him that teal sleeve thing because he kept chewing on his arm.]

Does not respect your personal space [...actually I think this is just canon as well.]

Comes back inside covered in bugs after hanging around in the woods for too long [fleas, ticks, etc.]. Chris has a spraybottle full of some kind of delousing spray Just For Him.
