hey horneters help me out here ! i thrifted a sweater and im thinking about customizing it to be a mh/clearlake44/eckva sweater!

its a forest green and the text is faded orange & white, not sure why my phone made it look like that lmao

anways question:

which design should i use?

picture one (top left, dont modify the sweater)

picture two (top right, orange fabric 4's & embroidered white text)

picture three (bottom left, move the tree emblem down and put the 44 there)

picture four (bottom right, most subtle: change the 1933 to 1944)

im also trying to deside on what date to use for design two & three, 2009 is when marble hornets started and 2015 is when CL44 started,,, tempted to make the date like. april 4th or smth??? idk. I also want to put something on the back too but I don't have any ideas yet. i also don't think I can cram a fuckin S in there so its clearlakes but its wtv we'll see

marblehornets.com was the in-universe production website for alex’s film. created for the short-lived clear lakes 44, it offered secret codes and additional info for the series.

it went down sometime ago, the url now defunct. thankfully, most of the site was archived via the wayback machine. 

the purpose of this post is to compile every aspect of this site, especially its hidden ones, in one place. most newer fans may not be aware of the website, much less the secret pages and inaccessible blog posts that shed more light on alex’s character. this post will not go into detail regarding the codes or interpretations, it just provide otherwise hard to find info.

if you posted about clear lakes during its short run or archived any of its pages, thank you from the bottom of my heart, because this post couldn’t have been made without you <3

the email does not work.

While the site was active, the director sign-in link would open a window to input a username and passcode, which gave access to alex’s production blogs. due to the way the wayback machine archives sites, this feature was not preserved, and alex’s blogs seem inaccessible, the link leading to an error page. thankfully, I was able to find them in the form of screenshots across multiple tumblr blogs.

it should be noted that the site and some of its pages updated as the arg progressed. these changes can be viewed with the wayback machine.
