Finally, art two different art blocks, I have my ASA/CLADE OC done! Meet Akari Everwood (my “self insert” oc, whose really not, but she’s an oc)

I tried at art, failed, but I think this is good enough…

this is a wip so it's allowed to look shitty but here: have some Enif rough sketches and info ! u can ask me about her if u want too. i have a 3 paged google doc with the main outlines of her lore and i'm so EXCITED. i have to organize it tho bc someday i'd love to send it to the mtl oc wiki. but yeah, she's here and she's ready to PR !!!

remember this lady? back in season 2? remember she appeared, wreaked havoc and then died? yeah turns out she had an adoptive daughter !!!

so be prepared to see her more in my dash once in a while. that's right i'll be one of the 5 people in this fandom to draw fanart of this girlie and her wicked ways. oh yeah and get ready to see some religious/cult trauma and emotional abuse between mother and daughter!

ok so: in the beggining all i wanted was for Enif to have a very normal and ordinary name and Laura Castillo played the part very well (i also love when spanish names can be translated and "Castle" is kind of an epic word) BUT !!! i've been thinking and there's another last name that is both ordinary AND symbolic (and also can be translated yippee!!!). that last name is Cordero, which means "Lamb" in spanish.

i absolutely love it and i am mad i didn't think of it before because it's RIGHT THERE!!! it connects perfectly with Enif's lore: her innocence being preyed on by a RELIGIOUS CULT while she was still a child who lost her family, and bc of her vulnerable state she's chosen as the HEIR to said cult and all their horrible antics and cruel beliefs.

she IS the lamb!!! she IS the prey!!! and her childhood and innocence IS the sacrifice (also a recurring symbolism of lambs).

and it gets better because in this context Liz Bane is both the predator AND the new guide and influence. i have a vague idea of what i want Enif's arc to be and a very important part of it is for Enif to slowly realize that deep down she's adopted a lot of Liz's character traits. Enif (without realizing it) grows to be a slightly sociopathic, cold-blooded master manipulator much like her adoptive mother. she's no longer a lamb, that was already sacrificed. she is now the predator.

(of course there'd be a happy ending for her to realize this is all due to trauma and she doesn't want to go down that path bc she wants to heal properly and she gets better thanks to dethklok's help and the power of friendship™ etc etc BUT it's good drama so, yeah.)
