Ayden gladly took on personal requests when it came to curious weapons he had yet to discover more about. A Bloodworth always knew what he produced and sold, meaning that designing had to be part of what he did and honestly, he didn’t mind that. Sure, he spent more time worrying about the partnerships, clients and alliances, and more often than not focused on Japan, but sometimes he really preferred going back to the basics and just spend hours on the weapons themselves. 

When his secretary announced his appointment arrived, Ayden told him to send him in. “Phenex,” he greeted with a smile. “It’s good to see you again, mate. You all right?”

“Hey, Phenex! Have you tried this?” He held out a stick with what looked like fried dumplings on it, though he soon paused with a contemplative look on his face. “Wait... Can you try these? Is that a thing you can do?”

「 ♞ 」 “Way too many people around here,” he muttered to himself, a small amount of blood trickling from busted knuckles as he slowly unscrewed the flask he’d pulled from his jacket pocket before taking a swig. Too many people, and he’d already punched a couple. Ah, the places he ended up in on jobs. “I’m never comin’ back here if I can help it.”

“do you even know where you are?” moriko looks skeptical as she looks at the stranger at the entrance of the stadium gym. he’s been standing there for a while, watching the ball bounce back and forth during their warm-up.
