Hey boys! I wondered today how long exactly you guys have been in Santa Carla, do you have to move every few years so people don't get suspicious that you don't age or suspect you of any disappearances? You must have been present in the town for quite a while for it to earn its nickname for murder capital, but do you guys have to be careful about where you hang your hats?
“We’re famous, baby!!” Paul whistled at her and snapped his fingers as he hopped up onto the fountain and danced around it, eager to get out on the boardwalk or maybe even leave town and visit another. He winked at her as he passed by again, giving a smug and sexy look that fit a rock star.
David casually passed by him, turning slightly to take a look at their questioner. “We’ve been here since before 87′. This is our home and anyone who claims different, well, they’re not around anymore.” He smirked, recalling something he’d said earlier to someone else. “We’ve faced enough enemies and gained enough knowledge to claim this town as our own. There’s no need for caution. Rather, a balance between everything that keeps us stable here.”
“Even a foot in the door at the city counsel,” Marko grinned. “Hell, this town belongs to more supernatural now than it does humans, which means, we gotta keep the runaways and the tourists interested in comin’ or we lose our meal tickets.”
“And believe it or not, people don’t really care,” Dwayne added with a slight shrug. “They might mention something one day about our looks, the older folk, and then forget about it the next. But that’s how it is with old folks. The younger ones here are too young to know better.”
