Did You Try Reversing The Polarity? | closed
Hal didn't really trust SHIELD with her inventions, especially the Pym particles. She didn't really trust many other people with her inventions, of course, only being willing to share them with select people. She would work with SHIELD and they let her use their much more spacious areas for testing things, but they weren't exactly friends.
Today, she was testing a device that would launch the particles so she could change the sizes of other objects or people as a non-violent way of subduing them--or a shrink-gun for short. Maybe she'd come up with a better name when the prototype was finished. After all, there was no rushing art (unless you really need that research grant to learn the secrets of the universe).
She set up several boxes in the weapons lab (she'd insisting this wasn't a weapon, but SHIELD had decided this was the best place to test it anyway). She powered on the gun and, aiming for a box on the left.
And hit the box on the far right.
"Note," she said into her mini-recorder, "device has aiming issues. Recalibrate."
