The changes made from Legally Blonde the movie to Legally Blonde the Musical did not go unnoticed and are so amazing.

For example:

Emmett Richmond becoming Emmett Forrest?

So that it’s Elle Woods and Emmett Forrest.

Perfection.

All though Elle Forrest or Emmett Woods is just meh.

Additionally changing it so that:

1. It’s Warner who makes the hurtful comment after Elle’s assault from her professor

2. And Vivian is the one to build her back up and convince her to stay instead of some random professor?!?

Is SO much better, HELLO much better!

It helps to cement Vivians character arch and growth so that it doesn’t pit women against women, and instead it’s women seeing through men’s bullshit and supporting one another.

Like come on. That’s simply amazing.

Also just Emmetts character growth from the movie to the musical in general and the way you get to see the two of them fall in love is honestly my absolute favorite thing.
