Dog, Cat, and Mouse || Jason & Claire
The bell signifying the end of the school day was a welcome sound for Jason, and he wasted no time in gathering his things before heading out of the classroom. It been a particularly long week, with getting caught up with all the school work he had missed from being sick the week before; and all he really wanted was to take advantage of the few hours of freedom he had to relax before things got hectic again when his Uncle arrived for parents weekend. He was just considering how he would spend this time as he made his way through the hall, when he noticed Claire a few feet ahead of him and hurried his pace to catch up to her. “Hey” He said with a bright smile as he fell in stride with her steps. “To uh, to risk sounding like a very broken record here, since I’m suggesting it for about the tenth time, we should hang out tonight. I uh, I need to just hangout with a friend before the chaos that is going to be parents weekend starts”
