Chuckling and nodding his head at her words, he shrugged slightly. “I uh, I honestly don’t think I would have any complaints about seeing you in a super hero costume” He admitted with a grin. “And hey, maybe I can be your sidekick! We’ll be Jason and Alexis: The world’s hottest superhero duo; thanks mostly to you of course. We’ll uh, we’ll be just like Batman and Robin, except for the fact that you’re way more attractive than Batman, and that I can’t pull off tights quite as well Robin”

Grinning, she allowed her attention to sway from him to the direction they were headed. A hummed laughter escaping her as he spoke; taking the time to peek over at him every once in a while. It wasn’t as though the girl had never learned how to relax. It was that she didn’t enjoy it any more. The less studying she did, she found, the less likely her mind was to wander to uncomfortable places. “Not a single textbook?” She gasped. Crossing her arms over her chest. “As long as I take this as a challenge, I might come out successful.— but somehow I feel if I approach it that way, it’ll come out unrelaxed as well.” She added, more to herself. “If we must, then… off to our dorms !”

“Nope not a single one. Not even a page out of one. Not even any of your notebooks” He replied, his tone sounding mock serious, although the grin on his lips told the true story. “Seriously I’m uh, I’m pretty sure you’re going to survive without them Claire. It’s not as though they’re like, your Horcruxes or something” He added with a small chuckle. Once they had reached his dorm, Jason unlocked and opened the door, before immediately throwing his bookbag onto his bed. Making his way over o the mini fridge, he pulled out a couple of different bottles of various kinds of alcohol. “You uh, you can help yourself to some of whatever is there if you want.” He offered with a small smile and a shrug as he made his way back over to the bed, emptying the contents of his bag and putting the bottles inside. “I’m uh, I’m not usually much of a drinker honestly. But I’m in the mood to have a few so you can too if you want.”

“Do you want me to write it out in big letters or something? Because you need to earn something like that.” She said, a playful glint apparent in her eyes. “I highly doubt you’re going to age badly. It was impossible for him not to grin at her words, and though Jason could feel the heat rise in his cheeks, he did not look away. Instead he met her playful gaze and mirrored it in his own features. Though the expression on his face had more than likely already given her the answer to the question she posed, he still took a moment and considered his words carefully before speaking anyway. “Well uh, let’s just say whatever damage was done to my ego from that girl thinking that I was the teacher was just undone” He answered finally, nodding his head and grinning wider. “So, does the ego-saving, bringer of triumphs have a name, or do you just go around helping people anonymously like some gorgeous super hero or something?”

Hesitating slightly when he spoke again she nodded slowly; breaking a laugh. “I did,” she sighed, smiling slightly. She kept her eyes carefully on him as he shook his head. “You can only turn someone down so many times before you start to feel bad about it.” She joked lightly as she lifted her hand to hold anxiously to her opposite forearm. Tilting her head up, she raised her brows, pretending as though relaxation was a new concept to her. “I’d like that… u-uh— Let the relaxing begin, I guess.” She declared; throat tight.

Grinning and nodding his head, Jason led the way out the doors and onto the school grounds, taking a moment to relish in it as he inhaled a deep breath of fresh air. “Alright. So uh, phase one of the relaxation initiative is stopping at our dorms, and dumping these heavy book loads that we’re carrying” He explained. “And no, don’t even think about grabbing any of them out of your bag and bringing them along with you, because that would just completely defeat the purpose.” He added, a teasing smirk playing around the edges of his mouth. “You uh, you have to devote yourself entirely to the relaxation, just the same way you would devote yourself to schoolwork. The school books are the shackles and as long as we carry them, they will keep us from being truly relaxed”

Just as the girl was organizing her thoughts, and preparing, in her mind, which subject she was going to try to tackle first upon arriving to her room, she heard a familiar voice make its way up beside her. A slight welcoming smile met her lips but it took her a few seconds to process what he was saying over her worry. “Oh– uh—” she trailed off, laughing softly as she realized she hadn’t prepared an excuse not t hang out between the time he called her and by the time his question reached her. “Right… family weekend. Raising his eyebrows in surprise, Jason grinned at her. “Wait you actually agreed?” He asked, his tone slightly disbelieving before he laughed lightly and shook his head. “I uh, I didn’t expect you to agree honestly. You’re just so busy all the time..” He trailed off, before shrugging his shoulders a little. “I was just thinking that we could hang out. Not really do anything in particular. Just, you know, relax.” He laughed and shook his head again. “Actually I guess you might not know what the word relax means. But I uh, I wouldn’t mind showing you” He teased.

Even though it was eleven o’clock at night by the time he had made sure that Claire had made it home safely, Jason still wasn’t ready to go back to his room. The bell signifying the end of the school day was a welcome sound for Jason, and he wasted no time in gathering his things before heading out of the classroom. It been a particularly long week, with getting caught up with all the school work he had missed from being sick the week before; and all he really wanted was to take advantage of the few hours of freedom he had to relax before things got hectic again when his Uncle arrived for parents weekend. Which was a great idea, except that it was on me to learn how to make everything... Let’s just say I learned how to stomach food that really was more like edible rubber. I got better at it eventually but at first it was pretty horrible. But hey, that’s really good. You uh, you did a lot better than I did when I started”
