The Fall of Raseth

When all of it came crashing down, it came crashing down in flames. Nobody had noticed their disappearance - people came and went all the time, for this was Raseth, the biggest trade city in Greatwyrm's Breach. Nobody had noticed the things Belial had done when no-one was looking. And when this golden city fell it was Raas they looked to. Young, inexperienced, but brave. In a cage of fire she had trapped the Emperor, and with the whole clan behind her they traveled where they really belonged. They knew survival, and they knew it well, even though they were donned in silks and golden jewelry. Even Kanchana, the golden matriarch who had lured the beast in its place, did not fall until her claws touched the soil of The Abiding Boneyard. And where she fell, a new city was built, her crystal shell forever reminding them of the things that had passed.
