Ratchet and Clank - Tools of destruction
Just finished this game! It was the first game of the Ratchet and Clank franchise that i played, and i loved it.
It's an exclusive for ps3, and the 5th game of the franchise (Without the ones for cellphones).
The story happens when Ratchet and Clank were in midst of working on a hoverbike on the planet Kerwan, in Metropolis. They receive a desperate call for help, from captain Qwark, which they respond to. They find a large army led by Emperor Tachyon, crown prince of the cragmites. he reveals that he's after Ratchet, the last Lombax in the galaxy and he wants to kill him because he's driven by hate for the Lombaxes. After a battle, Ratchet and Clank decide to investigate this Tachyon, and search for answers.
It's a pretty fun game! The animation, to start it's very attractive, i love the movements in the fights. It's very fluid and that gives a certain magic to the game.
Tools of Destruction retains much of the basic game play found in previous Ratchet and Clank games, the game being a shooter-platform. The player controls Ratchet most of the time, with some sections using Clank, as the explore various worlds to complete missions, using Ratchets wrench and other exotic weapons gained during the course of the game.
Then, who doesn't like a game full of weapons??? This game has lots and lots and LOTS of guns, with different abilities, that you can upgrade during the game, in this space-traveling-kind-of-thing style. And not forgetting all the jet packs, sonic sneakers and more!
In general: a real good time passed!
