Thanks! This is for my oc Grigori, who has the pleasure of having my longest wip which sits at 138 pages right now. :D
One night, Grigori decided to investigate the violin that had plagued him consistently. He was alone and had been traversing the neighbourhood for sometime. Eventually the curiosity was as bad as his thirst for blood. So he took a turn and followed the sound of the instrument. It led him through a block of older homes. Most were in the gothic revival style. They stood out in comparison to the hybrid beast that was Forrester’s mansion. Grigori found he liked their narrow windows and occasional arch.
One such home was emitting the violin’s cries. Walking toward it, he discovered the gate was unlocked. The gate itself was an ugly orange, having been rusted for what looked to be a long time. Looking around and seeing nobody, Grigori decided to enter. Flakes of rust came off onto his skin and he rubbed his hand against his pants. Within the fenced off area was a neat garden. Neat patches of hydrangeas and lavender were surrounded by bushes that had been carefully trimmed. On the veranda was a swinging bench. It, too was rusted quite badly. The front door however, was in immaculate shape. It gave the appearance of having been used many times in the past few days. Looking at the windows, Grigori saw they were all frosted over. That didn’t make any sense considering the sweltering heat that bit at Grigori’s nape.
Wiping at the window, Grigori attempted to look in. The inside of the house was a kaleidoscope of orange and frost. Curiosity piqued, Grigori decided to try the door. During all this, the violin played on in the same calm fashion as before. As much as Grigori knew this was a bad thing to do, more of him demanded to see and figure out where that damned musician was.
