Clannibal Imagines ~ 1/?

Imagine Clarice is now living with Dr. Lecter, but she went straight from addressing him as ‘Dr. Lecter’ to using his alias. She even uses his alias in private until she’s confident she won’t slip in public. It’s a solid year or so together before she says ‘Hannibal’ and he doesn’t realize until that moment how much he was yearning to hear her say his name.

Clannibal Imagines ~ 2/?

Imagine Clarice is undercover gathering intel on an international art thief. Her undercover role puts her in the company of the upper class. She's invited by a suspect to a dinner party as his plus-one. The dinner party happens to be hosted by the fugitive, Hannibal Lecter. Hannibal is shocked to see her in his home on the arm of a ne'er-do-well from a prominent family until he catches on to what she’s doing. Serendipity has brought her to his door. Neither can show that they know each other and they have fun in their private game for the night.

Clannibal Imagines ~ 3/?

Imagine while Clarice and Hannibal are having their pinned-to-the-fridge conversation, a rookie officer on patrol near the house hears the emergency call over the radio & decides to play hero. He enters the house through the front door. The rookie can hear movement in the kitchen, and with adrenaline high and thoughts of fame in his mind, he bursts through the kitchen door and fires 2 shots at the first movement he sees. It was Clarice freeing herself from the refrigerator. Hannibal left out the back just moments ago. The fireworks cover the sound of the gunshots. One bullet hits her in the stomach and the other grazes her side. She goes down and passes out quickly due to the pain and the remaining drugs in her system. The rookie thinks she's dead, and tells the response team that he found her like that. Dr. Lecter must have killed her when she tried to stop him from escaping. But Clarice isn't dead and she's rushed to the hospital.

Now the rookie must decide what he'll do if she survives...but he should be worrying about his own survival because his name did make the newspaper...the newspaper that Hannibal is reading at the airport and learns that he apparently must have shot Clarice and left her for dead. Livid and sickened that the love of his life was shot feet from him and he didn't even know, he disregards the risk of staying in the states & decides to pay a visit to the brave rookie who "found" his wounded bird...and really...how could he leave now when Clarice will need a doctor to take care of her?

Clannibal Imagines ~ 4/?

Imagine Hannibal did not attempt to escape but made it to confinement in Tennessee and one of the privileges he bargained for was one phone call and one in-person visit with Clarice every month. Clarice tries but she's a rookie run ragged. Sometimes she's misses their scheduled call and has missed a monthly visit. When she finally makes a visit, Hannibal snaps and snarls at her before giving her the silent treatment. Clarice is exhausted and annoyed by his childish behavior so she sits there and lets him stew. Eventually, the quiet lulls her to sleep. Hannibal doesn't notice until he hears her shift and gasp. He wonders if it's the lambs but then he hears her quietly moan his given name. After a door slams and startles Clarice awake, she's met with a now very chipper cannibal who is more than happy to speak with her. She doesn't question his sudden mood swing, he is supposed to be insane after all.
