You weren’t really considered much of a trainer. You didn’t like to fight, it didn’t matter if it was a Pokemon or another trainer. You suppose that is why you only had two Pokemon, Aki and Tanis. You had found Aki when you were younger, she was only an egg back then. You had picked her up and taken her to your home, when she hatched you were so happy! Your new friends coat was as silver as the moon and she was beautiful. You told everyone you knew about your new friend Aki and they made sure that you had everything you needed to take care of her. When you were old enough to be an official Pokemon trainer you went to the nearest Professor and got a Pokeball for Aki and, for some reason, a Pokedex. You tried to tell them that you would probably never complete it, you didn’t want to fight, you just wanted to find friends and grow your family. The Professor just smiled and gave it to you anyway. You and Aki rarely fought, only doing so when you absolutely had to. The two of you wandered all over, not really paying attention to what region you were in. Just exploring and meeting new people and Pokemon. Tanis had joined your little family only a few months ago. She had been abandoned by her previous trainer and because she was so young and timid, there was little chance that she would be adopted by most other trainers. So you asked if she would like to join you and Tanis in your family of two, she agreed and two became three.

It was just a normal night, the three of you sitting by a campfire under the stars, enjoying nature. The three of you had played with the local Pokemon all day and you were all exhausted. You were just about to tell Tanis and Aki that it was time to go to sleep when you heard a branch cracking. You turned to where the sound came from and tilted your head, “Hello?”
