Thank God Clare's safe. She was unfortunately suffering from severe depression and anxiety, so no wonder emergency help/search was conducted. Not saying that was the reason but it could be a factor the42,ie/clare-shine-opening-up-4966014-Jan2020/

Thank you for this. I’d heard little more about Clare than her name but this really puts the speed of the emergency alarm especially into perspective as well as giving a heartfelt, well rounded perspective on who she is. My heart really goes out to her, for what she’s experienced in the past and in the thought of what she must be experiencing right now

Update on Clare shine. She posted on Twitter and she's in hospital. She says that she's struggling but she will be back.

Thankfully I saw this as soon as she posted it last night :) It was quite a shock to see her like that but also such a relief to know that she was safe and all in one piece starting to get the help she required. To see all the women's football community and beyond band behind her like that was also so uplifting to see
