The Worst Witch Vampire Clarice AU! Came up with this after rewatching s2 and while admittedly a bit out of character I like it. I also have so much world building and writing ideas for it. Might make a oneshot in the future. I was really inspired by @colorstatu and their worst witch fan art.
Here’s some basic info on my AU.
Clarice was saved from death at the age of 5 when her parents opted for a turning. The only way to help her live through a horrible disease.
Sybil is just Sybil- Except now the Hallows are also renowned vampire hunters from years past. (They were forced to go underground after the magical creature equality act of 1894.) Sybil wants nothing to do with this legacy and neither do her sisters.
No. Clarice does not drink donated human blood. She drinks a magical blood substitute provided by the magic council to all enrolled vampires. In fact, she’s never had human blood, she says it smells horrible.
Ethel is secretly dating Felicity.
Clarice has unbalanced magic levels from stress and too much blood substitute, which makes her barely miss killing her entire potions class. Hehehe, cue Claribil angst.
Clarice and Sybil like each other. But shhhh they don’t know that yet, they’re super dense.
Lots of angst for these two. Gonna really lather it on.
Ursula Hallow finds out about Clarice and sends a bunch of hunters after her. Sybil now has to defend her crush from her mom’s goons.
There’s actually a lot of closeted magical creatures attending Cackle’s. The teachers are well aware of this and help them out. Blood moons make vampires a little crazy by clouding their decision making. Which is why on the night of a blood moon, all vampires at Cackle’s are told to stay in their rooms which have moon protecting enchantments. (Let’s just say Clarice didn’t make it to her room in time-)
Sybil actually does lots of research on vampires before she finds out about Clarice. She just has an interest in magical creatures. Unfortunately, Clarice takes this as a sign that she is a vampire hunter like the rest of her ancestors. Which leads to lots of anxiety and misunderstandings.
Ms. Hardbroom helps Clarice handle her vampirism and is sometimes nice. Ms. Hardbroom is half gargoyle, as a result her movements are very stiff because of it. However, it gives her more magical power and spell resistance.
