On the car ride to the house in 13x01, Jack asked if Clark was going to be okay. They felt guilty because he was stabbed by someone who was after him. Clark was just there, wrong place wrong time. Dean rolled his eyes but Sam tried to reassure them that he'd be fine. Jack then asked if he could see Clark again. Dean said no and that is was for his safety. Sam agreed, but also said that once it was safer, then maybe. Jack was content with that answer.
