Imagine: Diana saving you and feeling a connection with you

You covered your head, resigned to your fate and helplessly waiting for the impact. Your eyes shut tight, but you didn’t feel any pain as you had been expecting. Cautiously opening your eyes, you found with someone standing in front of you. She had stopped you from being crushed, still holding the wall over her head like it weighted nothing.

“W-Wonder Woman?” You uttered in awe, watching her in all of her glory.

As all response, she dedicated you a dazzling smile. She was even more gorgeous in person than you thought.

“Are you alright?” She asked as she threw the wall down and away from you.

You nodded your head, unable to speak up. She also couldn’t keep her eyes off of you. 

“I’m Diana” She offered you a hand, which you immediately shook.

“Y/N” You wondered in the soft warm feeling of her hand against yours.

“Nice to meet you, Y/N”

“You too!”

You hadn’t realized you were still shaking hands until both of you looked down at the same time and saw your palms pressed together. Laughing at the unison, you let go of your handshake. 

“Stay safe, Y/N” Diana muttered, never losing her smile. She seemed reluctant to leave, although duty called.

“Will I see you again?” You asked urgently when she took a step away from you.

“I think so” She chuckled. “Hopefully when you’re not in danger”

You smiled back, endeared by her response. Like you had known each other for a very long time, you nodded your heads in understanding. Then you waved goodbye at each other as she left.

Hey, Clark! I wasn’t completely sure if I should write for Carol Danvers, but I hope I chose well. I know you’re not around that much lately, but I hope you see this and that you love it. Hopefully everything’s alright and you return soon, I miss you. Stay safe and take care of yourself, we will be waiting for you to get back and receive you with a warm welcome. Much love! 😚💗

A/N: Clark!! Happy birthday ♥ I don’t know if you’re still visiting Tumblr because you said you’ll be in hiatus and that you don’t know if you’ll be back at all anymore but I still think of you as a friend and I always make gifts for my friends so I wanted to make this even if you won’t see this.

This was hard to think about though because I’m quite sure you wouldn’t see my ask in time so I didn’t bother to ask. But I do remember you saying you like Jericho Wilson so!! Joey it is ♥

Joey’s eyes wandered around the music store, stopping ocassionally on pretty vinyl covers and people passing by him. Your birthday was coming up - in fact it was today. Joey had had everything else ready, but he woke up remembering that he hadn’t remembered to buy you a gift.

So pulling a sweater and jeans on, he rushed out from the door, barely waving his hand to his mom as a goodbye. He had agreed to meet you at noon, so there was just a couple of hours of finding a perfect gift. And now there he was, pacing around the store, sliding his fingers along the vinyls.

Until he caught a glimpse of one. It was your favorite band’s first album, and Joey knew that edition was rare. A collector’s dream. So he didn’t waste any time, and snatched it from the shelf and took it to the front desk.

You sat by the cafe, sipping a warm, delicious liquid from a cute, spotted cup. You made a mental note to buy a cup like that for yourself. It was your birthday, and Joey had insisted on taking care of your party. You tried to tell him that he doesn’t have to arrange a party, that spending a day with him and your other friends was more than enough, but Joey wanted to make your day perfect. You meant a lot to him, you had stood by him when others teased him about not being able to talk at school. You had never wavered when they turned their attention to you, and Joey had put his powers out when his bullies pushed you back. And in no time the toughest and biggest one was on his knees, begging for forgiveness from you, calling you “Your Majesty” and threatened to beat his friends up if they didn’t do the same.

The whole school laughed at them as they explained that they were blessed with no brain, and that’s why they are idiots but that they’re going to treat everyone respectfully from now on.

After the situation was over, Joey couldn’t hide it anymore from you - he explained he can take over people’s minds. You thought he’s crazy at first and that his bullies just had a redemption for some reason, but he proved it with random people saying hi to you and asking you about something personal in your life - something only Joey knew.

You were shocked at first, maybe even a bit scared. But after a couple days, you embraced Joey as he was, he had never used his powers to the evil and he was the last person who could do so.

And now there you were, a couple years later, sitting at a cafe as you saw Joey approaching you with a gift and a big bouquet of flowers. He sat beside you, handing you the flowers and the vinyl as you smiled widely.

“Oh Joey! You shouldn’t have!” you exclaimed as he signed to you that he almost forgot about your gift, but found a perfect one anyway. You unwrapped the vinyl from the clumsy package, and gasped. You had never even dreamed to get their first album, the very first edition.

“Wow, Joey… I- I don’t know what to say…” you muttered and Joey smiled at you, putting his arm around your shoulders, happy that he made his best friend happy on their birthday.

I wanted to say this is such a cool idea, Like wow, I can’t wait to see what you come up with for these! I enjoy writing, drawing, reading, running, and hiking. I tend to be a laidback person, but I’m also very focused when I’m working, and I’m very levelheaded under pressure. When you were fourteen years old, you fell off the roof. The thing was, you never hit the ground. You had climbed up to admire the stars and then slipped off, felt your feet leave the shingles behind, and shut your eyes, bracing for an impact that never came. You were floating up next to the gutter, still far above the ground.

At first, you mostly used your newfound gift to amuse yourself, practicing floating around your home and the fields and woods beyond it, enjoying the sky and learning how to control your motion through it. You enjoyed the quiet life, you didn’t have a need to show off your powers and the rural landscape of your hometown provided plenty of room to float in peace.

But, of course, you weren’t the only human who had the power to move through the sky, and eventually, you ended up accidentally breaching airspace outside the New Avengers Facility. You were brought in, questioned, and though you were hesitant to make use of their offer, you eventually began training, real training, at their facility. You trained with Sam Wilson and eventually became closer with Carol Danvers when she stopped by on Earth; she took you under her wing in the eventual Avengers Infinity War. 

The others admired your careful focus in training and the ability to think on your feet. You didn’t let yourself be intimidated or swayed easily, and stuck to your convictions when conflict arose among the other Avengers. Though you were younger than the others, you were often a pragmatic voice and fiercely protective of the group, sometimes jumping in to help without even thinking. However, you still found comfort in retreating to the sky, in letting yourself become weightless for a moment, or racing the clouds whenever the urge passed by.

So I’m stuck in the hospital since Thursday night for non COVID19

So I was going through TikTok and you know the Shakira “Hips Don’t Lie” dance challenge? OMFG! I just had the image of Seb or Bucky doing that for his SO?

Literally, as I’m writing this, the doctor just came in and said I have an infection in my body from either my new AV graft or my permacath [im on dialysis] so I’m getting another operation!
