"No Rules: Helen Frankenthaler Woodcuts" at The Clark, Williamstown, Massachusetts, closes tomorrow, September 24. 

"No Rules" explores Helen Frankenthaler’s inventive and groundbreaking approach to the woodcut, a medium she explored for over four decades. She began creating woodcuts after experimenting with lithography, etching, and screen-printing and worked with a variety of print publishers to push the medium in new directions. The Clark Art Institute will also be hosting a series a of events celebrating Helen Frankenthaler this weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

Join the Clark Art Institute this weekend, Saturday, September 23, 2017 and Sunday, September 24, 2017, while they host series a of events celebrating Helen Frankenthaler. Events include Frankenthaler's "Abstract Expressions: A Musical Exhibit in Four Parts," made possible in part by a grant from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, and a public conversation about the artist's creative process, methods, and materials, with curator Jay A.
